How can I book a tour?
You can book a Travellive tour either remotely or by visiting our office.
Most travellers book remotely by sharing soft copies of the required documents (passport, PAN card, and Aadhaar card for all passengers) and completing the payment digitally.
If you prefer, you may also visit a Travellive office to complete the booking and make payment by cheque.
How many days prior to the tour should I do the booking?
Travellive recommends booking your tour at least 9 months in advance of the scheduled departure date.
Most of our group tours tend to fill up around 6 months before departure, and early booking helps secure availability and allows sufficient time for planning and visa processes.
On select tours, we also offer early-bird benefits, which are available for a limited period and are subject to specific terms.
Why is the Tour price a combination of Indian Rupees and Foreign currency?
Tour costs are incurred in multiple currencies, depending on the countries included in the itinerary.
Certain components—such as air tickets, visas, documentation, and some administrative expenses—are paid in Indian Rupees.
Other components, including hotels or cruises, meals, local transport, sightseeing, and train or ferry tickets, are paid in the local or foreign currency of the destination.
Quoting the tour price in two currencies helps present the cost structure more clearly and transparently.
When do I have to make the payment?
A registration amount is payable at the time of booking to confirm your seat on the tour.
The next payment is due between 90 and 75 days before departure, or prior to visa processing, whichever is earlier. This instalment covers the foreign currency component of the tour cost.
The exact amount payable in Indian Rupees is calculated based on the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment.
The final payment must be completed 45 days before departure.
Please note that this is a general payment guideline. For certain high-value tours, including those involving cruises or long-distance trains, a different payment schedule may apply. The applicable schedule will be communicated at the time of booking.
What are the different payment modes for booking a tour?
To book a tour or holiday, you can pay by any of the following methods:
What should be the name on the cheque?
Cheques or Demand Drafts should be made payable to Travellive (India) Pvt. Ltd.
For bank transfers, the relevant account details and account name are mentioned in the Booking Form.
Is the registration amount paid to book a tour refundable?
The registration or booking amount is subject to the cancellation policy applicable to the tour.
If a tour is cancelled after the booking amount is paid, cancellation charges will apply based on the timing of the cancellation, as outlined in Travellive’s Terms & Conditions.
We recommend referring to the detailed Terms & Conditions shared at the time of booking for complete information.
What are the documents required to book a tour?
To book an international group tour, you are required to provide copies of your passport, PAN card, and Aadhaar card.
Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the scheduled departure date of the tour and should have sufficient blank pages for visa purposes.
Our team will guide you if any additional documentation is required at the time of booking.
I am a single traveller. Will I be charged a single occupancy?
Most Travellive group tours offer both twin sharing and single occupancy options.
If you are comfortable sharing, you may opt to share a room with another Travellive traveller of the same gender.
If you prefer a room to yourself, a single occupancy room can be opted for, subject to availability and applicable charges.
