Hraunfossar - Thingvellir - Geysir - Gullfoss

Day 2

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, check out and proceed to Hraunfossar, a breathtaking series of waterfalls created by streams flowing over a distance of about 900 meters from the Hallmundarhraun lava field. This lava field originated from an eruption of one of the volcanoes beneath the Langjökull glacier. The next destination is Thingvellir National Park, a historically significant site where the ancient parliament assembled for centuries beside Iceland's largest lake. Following this, we'll visit the great Geysir Strokkur, renowned for its sprouting hot springs, before moving on to Gullfoss, famously known as the "Golden Waterfall." Here, you can witness the water dramatically plunging down 32 meters in two stages into a rugged canyon, with walls soaring up to 70 meters high. On sunny days, a sparkling rainbow can often be seen arching over the falls. Later, drive to Hella/Hvolsvöllur within the Fludir area in Iceland to check into your hotel for the night. If fortune smiles upon us, you might have the opportunity to witness the Northern Lights near the hotel after enjoying a fulfilling dinner.

Skogafoss - Reynisfjara Black Beach, Jokulsarlon with Diamond Beach

Day 3

Following breakfast, embark on an exhilarating journey to explore three of Iceland's most captivating sights. Our adventure begins at the majestic Skogafoss Waterfall. Skogafoss, renowned for its awe-inspiring beauty, is one of Iceland's largest and most iconic waterfalls. With waters plunging from a height of 60 meters (nearly 200 feet) into a serene pool below, the waterfall creates a mist that often produces rainbows on sunny days, adding to its mystical allure. After soaking in the splendor of Skogafoss, we'll make our way to the world-renowned black sand beaches along the Atlantic Ocean. Our second key destination is Reynisfjara Black Beach, celebrated for its striking basalt columns, powerful Atlantic waves, and breathtaking vistas. Renowned as one of the finest examples of Iceland's unique black sand beaches, Reynisfjara was honored by National Geographic in 1991 as one of the Top 10 non-tropical beaches to visit globally. The journey continues as we head to our third and final highlight of the day: the mesmerizing Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon. This enchanting lagoon, dotted with icebergs from the surrounding glacier, offers a surreal landscape unlike any other. Later, we will return to our hotel, where a delicious dinner awaits before retiring for the night.

We explore Hammerfest, including the Museum of Reconstruction, the modern 1961 Church of Hammerfest, St. Michael’s Church (Roman Catholic), and the exclusive Royal and Ancient Polar Bear Club. The journey to Tromsø offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in Norland, with awe-inspiring fjords along the way. We'll make photo stops to capture the ethereal beauty of nature, arriving in Tromsø by afternoon. Upon arrival, we'll embark on a city tour led by our English-speaking guide, which includes a visit to the iconic Arctic Cathedral. After the tour, we'll check in to our hotel, conveniently located near downtown Tromsø.
